C7 Super Angle Knuckles & Tie Rods Set - Modified OEM
Starting with factory fresh GM knuckles & ball joints, we CNC machine a new tapered outer tie rod pickup point that quicken steering, incerase steering angle and reduce ackerman. We've clearanced material around the included OEM tie rods (with CAD modeled 3D surfacing) considering full compression and rebound travel. OEM style extended inners and our outer 6061 & CrMo tie rods have a tight and reliable taper fit. 30mm/1.25" wheel spacers are recommended. Approx 48 degrees of useable angle will be acheievd with just the knuckles on otherwise stock suspension. Up to 70 degrees of angle possible with this knuckle and modified high clearance suspension. Ackerman is approx 7 degrees. Some clearancing to the front lower arm and a bump stop near the caliper is helpful to achieve greater useable angle with stock arms. Add MAX front control arms to gain clearance and unlock the full potential of the knuckles. With OEM 19x10's you'll want to run 255/35 tires or for the ultimate clearance without changing the arms, use 18x8-10 with 255/40 on the grandsport/Z06 widebody. This geometry was thoroughly tested on our shop C7 as seen in the instagram videos. **We recommend a 21" braided line with a -3AN to M10p1.0 inverted flare female on the car side and a 90 degree banjo -3AN to M10p1.0 banjo bolt in the OE caliper. ~Note: Provisions for wheel speed sensors are elimintated due to tie rod clearancing. ABS and Traction control will be disabled, which is necessary for drifting.
