Rack to ITR Forward Offset Spacers w/ cross member plates for IS/GS/JZX
SKU:SXE10RSPCR
Designed in partnership with Daigo Saito of Fat Five Racing for use on his ground breaking MarkII jzx100 chassis, and also compatible with the IS300/Altezza/JZX90/JZX100/JZX110/JZS160 GS. Rack to tie rod 36mm forward offset spacer set adds angle through increased rack throw and prevents steering lock up (over centering) at high steering angles by assisting the tie rod's leverage over the knuckle. Designed to be paired with high angle modified steering knuckles. Adjusts the pivot point of the inner tie rod forward 36mm which requires a notch in the cross member on IS300/JZX100, filled by the supplied plates. Allows SXE and JZX chassis cars to a higher caster setting without severe over centering. This offset spacing does cause some stress on the steering rack so full steering rack relocation is the preferred method. But these are a simple bolt on solution. Sold by the pair. ***Requires a notch to the crossmember and welding on IS/JZX100. No notching needed on JZX90/GS/Aristo. These spacers increase the overall tie rod length. So you will need to address the tie rod fitment in relation to the control arm length.
