In Stock! Solid aluminum bushing set replaces the OEM rubber mounts to increase the sound, feel, feedback and response. Plus if you opt out of using the top spacers, you can improve roll center geometry on lowered cars. Stainless rear upper shims are used either way to level the subframe and increase the surface area where the thin SF rear corner sleeves touch an uneven part of the chassis. Subframe solid risers were developed for our 2024 Model 3 performance rear subframe, to let the car easily enter and exit a drift with composure and confidence & without unpredictable bounce back that can unsettle the car when rubber suspension elements are loaded in a corner. This set may also apply to some older model 3 or Y's since they have very similar looking subframes that could just have different SF assembly part numbers due to clearly different bushings. 24+ model 3 OEM rubber SF bushings have a plastic "snubber" insert set into voids in the rubber bushing. While you are working with the subframe its a great time to install our rubber bushing to bearing conversion for the RLCA subframe inboard mounts which improves handling & response of the rear lower control arms & connected rear coil-damper or (coilover conversion) suspension. Installation requires dropping the rear subframe as seen at service.tesla.com chassis section, title is Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install). DIY installers may opt to buy a Universal Press and Pull Sleeve Kit Bushing and Bearings Installation Kit as seen on Amazon to assist in following our DIY garage installable method as seen on the YouTube build series. That tool easily takes care of half the SF mount bushings but the other half gets done the hard way as we've shown, at least until we offer a custom tool. * Dropping the subframe is also a good time to replace drive unit bushings, while the entire rear assembly is out of the car and the car is powered down. If all that sounds scary, or unsafe, please find a professional shop for installation. The service.tesla.com Drive Unit - Rear (4DU) (Remove and Install) instructions provide vital process & safety information if you choose to do this job AT YOUR OWN RISK.
