Tesla Model 3 Y Solid Drive Unit Bushing Set, for 4DU1 cars
SKU:TM3YSDUB4
MAXUSA stock posted here for pre-sale arrives 7/9/2025 MAXTW is in stock now. Solid aluminum bushing set replaces the OEM rubber mounts to increase the sound, feel, feedback and response from your electric car that you might be missing from your old ICE powered car. Developed for our 2024 Model 3 performance rear drive unit but this may also apply to some newer model Y's equipped with 4DU1 etched into the side of the Drive unit's ID area. Installation requires dropping the rear subframe so although this DU bushing swap is pretty easy by itself it's also a great time to replace subframe mounts, while that's out of the car and the car is powered down, with our solid riser set, (to improve roll center geometry on lowered cars) as well as our rubber bushing to bearing conversion for the subframe inboard mounts for increasing handling response of the rear lower control arms. * Install Notes * Read no further if you have a great sense of self preservation & are understandably scared of working on (electric) cars & Continue reading if you're not willing to pay a professional shop for installation (even know you absolutely should). DIY installers may opt to buy a Universal Press and Pull Sleeve Kit Bushing Bearings and Seals Removal Installation Kit as seen on Amazon to assist in following our DIY garage installable method as seen on the YouTube build series. The service.tesla.com Drive Unit - Rear (4DU) (Remove and Install) instructions provide vital process & safety information if you choose to do this job AT YOUR OWN RISK.
