Tesla Model 3 Battery protection, Rocker Rail-Sliders

Bolt on install for all 2017-2026 model 3's, in place of the paper thin OEM side skirts, with included 12.9 grade hardware. Each pair is machined out of a massive piece of 7/8" thick material to fully cover the 81"x4" battery sides and rocker pinch welds which effectivly lets your lowered car silently slide right past unusually big speed bumps, harsh driveway entries, and crests, without scraping battery, frame or jack points when you high-center the car. It will only take someone handy with a wrench about an hour for DIY install following our guide at Youtube.com/@partsshopmax Model 3 build series episode 27, which includes how to trim your OEM rocker cover assembly with a cut off wheel to achieve a totally original appearance from the side view. Rigorous testing of these skid plates on the shop car included flying off track at the most dangerous point of Willow springs raceway's Horsethied mile, where the 2024 model 3 performance spun and performed a board slide on and off the side of the track which could have totalled the car like many others in that track's history however the car rolled out of the situation with a few scratches, perfect alignment and was mostly in need of a pyrofuse and replacement airbags however there was no need for frame or battery replacement with this underside protection. I designed this solution for my #EVdrift machine because its normal to drop a tire off the side of the track once in a while when attempting to use the full course width. Although it would be great to meet my maker in the middle of linking the course in a epic, smokey full lock drift, jokes aside, We should all focus on doing what it takes to protect the expensive EV battery & the frame rails on low daily drivers and pushing the limit on the race track. CAD designed on 3D laser scan data & 100% CNC machined from UHMWpe a material specifically designed for wear resistance, and commonly used in off-road skid plates. 12 M8p1.25 high grade bolts and giant 37mm OD flush mount washers are included. 4 of the OEM battery to chassis bolts are retained for leaving the battery undisturbed while installing the sliders which weigh just under 11 pounds per pair. Retains original jack points / trailer tie down points. Holes in the sliders allow for jack point hockey pucks that are retained by a stud and o-ring up inside the hole on the 4 jack pad points.
