Trackside dirt-drop rail sliders offer unibody rocker, pinch weld, and battery-side protection by bolting these skid plates into OEM hardware locations under the car. You can retain the outer half of the OEM rocker covers so the car appears to be totally normal from the side view, if the OEM covers are cut along the frame rail where these parts exist. I designed this solution for my #EVdrift machine because its normal to drop a tire off the side of the track once in a while when attempting to use the full course width. Although it would be great to meet my maker in the middle of linking the course in a epic, smokey full lock drift, We all might as well protect the battery it while the frame rails and battery bolts are still in tact. CAD designed on 3D laser scan data & 100% CNC machined from UHMWpe a material specifically designed for wear resistance, and commonly used in off-road skid plates. 12 M8p1.25 high grade bolts and giant flush mount washers are included. 4 pieces of the OEM battery to chassis bolts are retained for leaving the battery undisturbed while installing these specialty off-road only parts. Retains original jack points / trailer tie down points. ***Although these may seem to open up the ability to jack the car from other locations without folding the chassis pinch welds, you should beware this material is very slippery and therefore it is very dangerous to use a jack on this material without the jack point hockey pucks that are retained by a stud and o-ring up inside the hole on the 4 jack pad points.
