This gold anodized billet aluminum part serves as a single jack point for the rear of the car allowing you to lift both rear wheels off the ground using just one floor jack between the rear lower control arms, which is great for saving time versus the OEM jack points. During chassis development and track testing we made frequent spring rate swaps, ride height changes, and TRUE rear coilover damping adjustment requires reaching over the rear tires to access the knob at the top of the wheel well. Our tires get changed frequently for drifting, so we made habit of sliding the jack under the rear subframe (between the rear lower arms) to lift the car with the plastic rear under aero shield and diffuser in place, sandwiching them between the floor jack and subframe, which was fine as long as the jack was totally on center of two m6 bolts, right until the jack slipped off the place we imagined the subframe to be but its just not as clear as day under the car. That cracked the plastics which cost $255 plus there's some vital fluids routed back there for the drive unit. This solid single jack point attaches directly onto an unused OEM hole on the rear subframe center using the included M6p1x25 hex bolt and 25 OD washer recessed in this part. You'll want to find some red loctite to make sure that single fastener will never come loose. 3D laser scanning has allowed this compact and light weight part to spread the load by making as much surface area contact as possible in a small footprint. The gold anodizing peaking through your trimmed plastics will make fast work of locating this new jack point with certainty. The 5th jack point adds the speed and convenience you've been missing when you want to get the car up on jackstands located under the 4 OEM rocker panel jack points.Trimming of the plastics is required as shown in the photo gallery.
